Overview
Agnes O. Doyle is an experienced trial attorney with a track record of success in a wide range of complex commercial litigation matters in both state and federal court. Ms. Doyle has a diverse civil litigation practice where she routinely counsels clients in disputes in the healthcare, maritime, energy, financial services, construction, employment and real estate industries.
Ms. Doyle has significant experience in representing managed care organizations, insurance companies, hospitals, and healthcare providers in matters related to healthcare agreement disputes, denial of healthcare claims, and overpayment and underpayment recoupments, as well as regulatory compliance in administrative proceedings. She also defends clients in white collar defense cases related to healthcare fraud.
Ms. Doyle's litigation experience also includes counseling domestic and international charterers, shippers, shipowners, and insurers in disputes related to maritime contracts, vessel and cargo damage, collision incidents, vessel arrests, cargo contamination, and demurrage and detention, as well as general average issues. Ms. Doyle also provides advice related to offshore operating agreements and other maritime based agreements.
Ms. Doyle zealously represents clients in a wide variety of commercial litigation matters, including those involving breach of contract, violation of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, misapplication of trust funds, fraudulent transfer, tortious interference, deceptive trade practices, and product liability claims. She is well-versed in all phases of litigation, including case development, discovery management and eDiscovery, summary judgment, trial, mediation, and settlement, as well as representing clients on appeal.
Ms. Doyle also serves as the Public and Charitable Services attorney for Holland & Knight's Houston office, leading charitable services and pro bono efforts. She also serves on the board of directors for The Holland & Knight Charitable Foundation.
