Overview
Ana Dragojevic is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's San Francisco office and a member of the firm's West Coast Litigation Group. Ms. Dragojevic focuses her practice in commercial litigation, including all aspects of general business disputes.
Ms. Dragojevic has experience representing corporate and individual clients in a broad range of industries, particularly those involving healthcare, and in a range of disputes including fraud, privacy, contract disputes and unlawful detainer actions.
Ms. Dragojevic's representative matters include:
- Obtained a favorable ruling for a public healthcare district in a putative class action alleging violations of the California Confidentiality of Medical Information Act (CMIA), California Invasion of Privacy Act (CIPA), Common Law Invasion of Privacy and Unfair Competition Law based on the installation of cookies on healthcare websites
- Secured a favorable ruling granting a receivership over seven entities that fraudulently transferred a client's money in violation of a loan agreement
- Successfully opposed a motion to compel compliance with a California subpoena seeking confidential corporate records for an out-of-state client
- Obtained a dismissal in favor of a public healthcare district in an action alleging violations of the First Amendment based on a healthcare district board's public censure of a board member
- Successfully negotiated an agreement allowing an indigent, elderly California man to obtain free temporary housing following his eviction pursuant to the Ellis Act
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Dragojevic worked in fraud and risk analytics for an online ride-sharing company, where she analyzed emerging fraud trends and developed risk mitigation solutions. While in law school, Ms. Dragojevic served as a senior production editor for the Hastings Law Journal and worked as a research and teaching assistant to a constitutional law professor.
