Overview
Emily M. Earnshaw is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office and a member of the firm's Tax Practice. Ms. Earnshaw focuses her practice on federal, state and local taxation matters.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Earnshaw was a summer associate in the firm's Dallas office, where she gained experience in tax controversy and general litigation. She also clerked at a pro bono family law firm and a small private firm. In addition, Ms. Earnshaw externed with the Office of Judicial Staff Counsel and Special Magistration of the Tarrant County Criminal District Courts in Texas.
While in law school, Ms. Earnshaw served as the managing editor of the Texas A&M Law Review. She also participated in the Tax Dispute Resolution Clinic, aiding qualifying individuals in resolving various matters at different stages of the tax controversy process, including successful settlement negotiations with an IRS attorney.
