Claudia Georgina García

Claudia Georgina García is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office. Ms. García has 15 years of experience on environmental matters with a focus on water management, environmental impact and waste integral management. She also has vast knowledge in the area of sustainable development and corporate social responsibility, and Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).

In addition, Ms. García has a significant background in corporate social responsibility strategy and designing policies to meet goals for reduction of water consumption and waste generation, increase plastics recycling as well as sustainable use of natural resources through commercial plantations. She also has in-depth knowledge on the design and administration of environmental compliance tools, employee training programs and the creation of policies for hiring environmental service providers. She has advised clients in administrative proceedings before the Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection and various state environmental authorities.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. García worked as an environmental attorney for a leading Mexican law firm.

Ms. García has earned a specialization degree in social training from USEM Monterrey and a specialization degree in regulation from the Federal Commission for Regulatory Improvement and the Latin American Network for Regulatory Improvement and Competitiveness.
