Overview
Manuel "Manny" Gardberg is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Houston office, where he focuses his practice on real estate and banking matters. He represents clients in all stages of commercial real estate development for industrial, oil and gas, renewable, retail, condominium, hotel, multifamily and office projects. This includes representation of lenders, with a focus on construction loans (student housing, industrial, warehouse and multifamily).
Representative Experience
- Represent lenders in connection with commercial real estate loans throughout the country, including construction loans, bridge loans, refinances and workouts for industrial, multifamily and student housing collateral
- Represent national and regional private banks with loans to high-net-worth individuals secured by real property, marketable securities, cash surrender value life insurance policies and ownership interest in various entity structures
- Represent developers in the purchase, financing and leasing of industrial projects
- Represent a publicly traded corporation in the acquisition and development of raw land for renewable energy projects throughout the country
- Represented the developer of a 45 metric ton per day green hydrogen production project, including all real estate for the project, which included a 16-mile transmission line and shared electric facilities with a 500 MW wind project
