Alec Gonzalez Whitsell

Alec Gonzalez Whitsell is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Houston office, where he handles a variety of corporate transactions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Gonzalez Whitsell was a summer associate in the firm's Houston and Dallas offices. Mr. Gonzalez Whitsell has experience working on corporate deals in energy and financial sectors.

While in law school, Mr. Gonzalez Whitsell was a member of the Boston University International Law Journal.  He has researched and written on the topic of risk mitigation strategies in international investment in the renewable energy space.

Mr. Gonzalez Whitsell's recent experience includes:

• represented a leading provider of industrial cleaning and infrastructure services in a change of control transaction involving the sale of a majority equity interest to a leading global private equity fund with $60 billion of capital under management; the transaction involved a partial equity sale and partial rollover of equity interests by more than 100 founders and an earn-out
