Maxwell C. Hansen

Maxwell C. Hansen is a litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office. Mr. Hansen focuses his practices on a variety of litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Mr. Hansen has experience representing clients in complex business disputes, trademark and copyright litigation and insurance coverage matters. Mr. Hansen has litigated cases in federal court, state courts and in arbitration, including breach of contract and fiduciary duties, trade secret, data privacy and employment matters.

Before joining Holland & Knight as an attorney, Mr. Hansen was a summer associate in the firm's Chicago office. In this role, Mr. Hansen gained experience assisting on commercial debt disputes and bankruptcy proceedings.

Prior to entering the legal field, Mr. Hansen lived for two years in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where he worked in management consulting. Upon returning to the United States, he joined a consulting firm that focused on conducting due diligence for private equity firms. Mr. Hansen is fluent in Spanish and has represented clients from Latin America seeking asylum in the United States.
