Overview

Jonathan Korman is a financial services attorney in Holland & Knight's Philadelphia office. Mr. Korman represents national and regional banks, nonbank lenders and corporate borrowers in a wide variety of syndicated, club and bilateral financings.

Mr. Korman's experience includes handling acquisition and working capital term loans, cash flow and asset-based revolving loans, split-lien and second lien loans, mezzanine and subordinated debt, loans to high-net-worth individuals, real property acquisition and construction financing, as well as workouts.

Mr. Korman routinely counsels lenders in connection with complex structured and specialty finance transactions involving a broad range of structured and traditional warehouse lending products. Representative asset classes in this space include middle-market loans, consumer loans, student loans and home equity loans, as well as credit card receivables, equipment leases, merchant cash advances and other esoteric or specific types of collateral.

Mr. Korman also represents a government-sponsored enterprise with respect to residential mortgage loan seller/servicer financings collateralized by residential loans, mortgage servicing rights, excess servicing spread and servicing advance receivables and other related matters.

Following law school, Mr. Korman served as a clerk for the Honorable Joseph E. Irenas of the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey.
