Overview

Mojdeh Malekan is a litigator and real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's New York office. Her practice is focused on litigation and loan servicing matters relating to commercial mortgage loans. Ms. Malekan has extensive experience representing financial institutions, servicers and private investors in connection with distressed residential and commercial loans. 

Ms. Malekan also has broad litigation experience, having represented lenders in state supreme and federal courts in New York, in regard to contested residential and commercial foreclosures, title actions, lien priority disputes and lender liability claims. In addition, Ms. Malekan has represented creditors in bankruptcy proceedings in matters relating to mortgage loans. She also has significant appellate experience, having drafted numerous briefs and argued before New York's Supreme Court, Appellate Division. She is experienced in all stages of litigation at the trial and appellate levels.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Malekan was an associate in the New York office of a law firm representing lenders, investors and loan servicers in real estate litigation matters.
