Sean Muzquiz

Sean Muzquiz Garcia is a labor, employment and benefits attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office.

Mr. Muzquiz provides advice in labor law, whether for individual or collective matters, as well as in consulting, litigation analysis or in matters of company structure. Through his practice, he maintains a focus on compliance with Mexican legal labor provisions.

Mr. Muzquiz provides advice in labor consulting and coordination in contracting processes and termination of labor relations, whether for individual high-level employees or collective relations. Furthermore, he has experience assisting with labor inspection processes by the Mexican authorities, negotiation processes and litigation in collective labor matters, particularly in processes of claims for ownership of collective bargaining agreements, strike calls, as well as contractual and salary reviews within the collective bargaining agreements. He also has experience in the elaboration of labor employment agreements, amending agreements, termination documents, employment policies, labor benefit plans, mandatory profit sharing and internal employment rules.

In addition, Mr. Muzquiz leverages his knowledge and experience to provide legal advice and assistance on the labor needs of companies in compliance with labor regulations, as well with issues related to the regulation and implementation of outsourcing and labor schemes.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Muzquiz worked in the labor practice of several renowned law firms in Mexico.
