Overview
Amy M. O'Brien is an environmental attorney in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the Public Policy & Regulation Group. Ms. O'Brien focuses her practice on a wide variety of environmental litigation, transactional and regulatory matters.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. O'Brien was an associate at a law firm in its Albany, New York, office, where she represented and advised private real estate developers and corporations on a broad range of land use and environmental matters.
During law school, Ms. O'Brien served as the editor-in-chief of the Pace Environmental Law Review. In addition, she interned for the Honorable Edgardo Ramos in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York. Ms. O'Brien also worked as a student attorney for the school's Food and Beverage Law Clinic, where she advised small-scale farming businesses on corporate formation and compliance with federal and state food safety laws and regulations.
