Alonso Pelayo

Alonso Pelayo Romero is a business attorney in Holland & Knight's Mexico City office. Mr. Pelayo focuses his practice on domestic and international corporate tax consulting.

Mr. Pelayo advises on the tax aspects of corporate mergers and acquisitions (M&A), investment vehicles, lending and financing structures at the domestic and international level. In addition, he provides compliance advice on complex corporate tax matters. He also represents Mexican companies and individuals as they invest and do business abroad, as well as foreign clients doing the same in Mexico and Latin America.

Prior to rejoining Holland & Knight, Mr. Pelayo was a paralegal in the firm's Mexico City office. Previously, he held positions at two highly regarded Mexican law firms in the tax practice.
