Overview

Karolyn Perry is a commercial litigation attorney in Holland & Knight's Nashville office. Ms. Perry represents clients in the healthcare, health services and financial services industries. She has extensive experience defending management services organizations, including dental service organizations (DSOs) and physician practice management companies, as well as healthcare companies that own ambulatory and outpatient surgery centers.

Ms. Perry handles all phases of litigation from investigation to trial, as well as alternative dispute resolution, including mediation and arbitration. She has represented parties in single-party civil disputes, administrative appeals and class action litigation. Her experience prosecuting and defending cases in state and federal courts enables her to craft informed legal strategies for clients on both sides of the aisle.

Ms. Perry's pragmatic approach to litigation, including her proficiency in e-discovery, allows her to efficiently and effectively serve clients' various needs. She has assisted clients in healthcare reimbursement disputes between providers and private and governmental payers, disputes concerning management services agreements, physician buyout and equity disputes, shareholder disputes, indemnity disputes, investor and lender disputes, franchisee-franchisor disputes, general contract disputes (including non-competition agreements and other restrictive covenants), as well as disputes involving business torts such as claims for breach of fiduciary duty, intentional interference with economic expectancy and misappropriation.
