Overview

Ariel B. Robinson is a real estate attorney and serves as the executive partner of Holland & Knight's Century City office. Ms. Robinson represents private and institutional investors, owners and developers in connection with complex real estate transactions, with an emphasis on acquisitions and dispositions, leasing and development. Ms. Robinson's experience includes a wide range of asset types, including office and industrial buildings, multifamily projects, land for residential development, and retail, mixed-use and hospitality projects.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Robinson was a partner and executive committee member of a boutique national real estate firm in Los Angeles. 

Representative Experience

  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in the acquisition and disposition of more than $11 billion in office, industrial and apartment projects located throughout the United States
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in the portfolio acquisition and financing of 38 industrial properties located in five states
  • Representation of a joint venture in the portfolio acquisition of 27 residential developments located in 10 states, the subsequent management and development thereof, and the ultimate disposition of individual projects in varying stages of development, from single-family paper lots to completed apartment projects
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in the joint venture acquisition and financing of a portfolio of 17 industrial properties located in eight states
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in the acquisition and consolidation of complex ground lease and sublease interests in an office building located in Los Angeles, and the subsequent disposition of tenancy-in-common, ground lease and sublease interests therein
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in the acquisition and strategy for conversion of two large broken condo projects in Florida
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in a joint venture workout with its operating partner, including complex structuring relating to taxation and the disposition of properties owned by the venture primarily located in the Southeast and Midwest
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in the joint venture acquisition of eight regional malls in a $1.05 billion portfolio
  • Representation of an institutional real estate investor in connection with the buyout of its operating partner and acquisition diligence of the joint venture's real property located in Southern California
