Overview

Eli Rodrigues is a private wealth services and international tax attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office. Mr. Rodrigues advises foreign and domestic clients on U.S. federal income, state and local, gift and estate tax matters associated with their cross-border investments and businesses.

Mr. Rodrigues has significant experience representing public and private companies, family offices, funds, celebrities and ultra-high-net-worth individuals on structuring tax-efficient transaction, investment, holding and operational structures. He regularly advises clients on tax planning with respect to Subpart F income and Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income (GILTI), the acquisition and sale of U.S. real estate, corporate acquisitions and reorganizations, expatriations, income tax treaty, tax controversy and compliance issues.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Rodrigues was a tax attorney in the Miami office of an international law firm. He previously served as an international tax consultant in the Miami office of a multinational accounting firm.
