Overview
Jesse Roisin is a real estate finance attorney in Holland & Knight's Boston and Charlotte offices. Mr. Roisin focuses on the representation of banks and other institutional lenders in connection with the origination and servicing of conduit and portfolio loans secured by real estate in all major asset classes, including commercial office buildings, multifamily housing, industrial warehouses and mixed-use properties, shopping centers, hotels, self-storage facilities and other types of commercial properties nationwide.
Mr. Roisin is well versed in advising clients with loans involving a variety of sophisticated financial structures surrounding the capital markets industry, including ground leases, mezzanine financing, condominiums, multiborrower and multiproperty structures, tenants-in-common arrangements, and cross-collateralized/cross-defaulted, A/B note and portfolio loan structures.
In addition to his loan origination practice, Mr. Roisin regularly represents lenders and third-party servicers on a wide range of servicing matters, including loan restructurings, splitting of loans, consents, partial property releases, future advances, loan acquisitions and dispositions, transfer of servicing, workouts and forbearance arrangements.
During law school, Mr. Roisin served as an articles editor for the Boston University Public Interest Law Journal.
