Overview
Molly Ross is a senior public affairs advisor in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Group. Ms. Ross focuses her practice in the energy, environment and agriculture and food policy areas, as well as on issues pertaining to federal budget and appropriations.
With eight years of experience working on Capitol Hill, Ms. Ross has a deep understanding of the U.S. Senate and helps clients navigate the appropriations process. She has developed relationships with committees that have jurisdiction over energy, environment, agriculture and fisheries issues. Known for her bipartisanship and pragmatic thinking, Ms. Ross brings useful knowledge and relationships to the firm.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Ross served as a legislative assistant for Sen. Susan M. Collins (R-Maine), chair of the Senate Committee on Appropriations, where she advised on appropriations priorities and issues pertaining to energy, environment, agriculture, fisheries and nutrition. Ms. Ross helped secure significant wins in landmark pieces of legislation such as the Energy Act of 2020 and the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. She also played a key role in Sen. Collins' Congressionally Directed Spending Process, where she helped entities in Maine secure hundreds of millions of dollars in direct federal appropriations.
