Jimar A. Sanders

Jimar Sanders is a financial services attorney in Holland & Knight's Chattanooga office where he focuses on corporate and commercial finance transactions and all aspects of real estate transactions.

Mr. Sanders represents a number of private mezzanine and subordinated debt investment funds in connection with investment and lending transactions throughout the United States.  He advises corporate borrowers on all matters related to leveraged acquisitions. He also works extensively with financial institutions and borrowers in commercial real estate, construction and land development financing transactions.

Mr. Sanders' experience spans the purchase, sale, leasing, financing and development of a wide range of commercial projects, including office, industrial, retail, commercial, mixed-use and multi-family residential projects.

Mr. Sanders also handles corporate relocation and expansion matters with experience assisting domestic and international companies in their expansion and relocation projects throughout the country. He has successfully negotiated ad valorem property tax abatements, sales tax exemptions, income tax credits, grants, tax increment financing arrangements and other tax incentives.
