Nisa R. Sheikh

Nisa Sheikh is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office. Ms. Sheikh focuses her practice on a variety legal matters in real estate, real estate finance, hospitality and land use.

Ms. Sheikh represents landlords and tenants in the negotiations of leases. She also represents purchasers and sellers in the acquisition and development of commercial real estate, as well as financial institutions in lending and investment transactions.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Sheikh was a summer associate in the firm's Dallas office. In this role, she gained experience assisting on real estate and litigation matters. Ms. Sheikh also served as a student attorney in both the Children's Rights Clinic and Domestic Violence Clinic at the University of Texas School of Law.

While in law school, Ms. Sheikh served as the chief online editor of The Review of Litigation, served as a mentor for the school's Pipeline Program and was a team lead for the Mithoff Pro Bono Program's Parole Project.
