Overview

David R. Singleton is a partner in Holland & Knight's Tampa office and focuses his practice primarily upon the representation of lenders in real estate loan transactions. This representation includes construction loans and permanent loans and various types of properties such as retail centers, condominiums, affordable housing projects, office buildings and industrial buildings. His practice also includes the representation of lenders and borrowers in commercial loan transactions that are unsecured or are secured by personal property. He also has substantial experience in loan workouts and loan restructurings.

During law school, Mr. Singleton was a member of the Florida State University Law Review, which published his article, "Corporations May Exclude Raiders from Defensive Self-Tender Offers in Warding Off Hostile Takeovers," and he was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif upon graduation.
