Overview
Anastasia Sotiropoulos is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office and a member of the firm's Financial Services Team, who represents lenders (including traditional banks, private debt funds and other financial institutions), agents and borrowers in senior secured credit facilities, second-lien credit facilities, cash-flow-based credit facilities and syndicated credit facilities.
Ms. Sotiropoulos has substantial experience in effectively negotiating, documenting and closing a wide variety of financing transactions, with an emphasis on transactions involving sponsor-backed acquisitions and leverage buyouts, as well as representing third-party agents. She excels at simplifying complicated concepts into clear and concise terms and offers solutions that minimize risks while helping to ensure that the legal considerations align with and support the business needs of her clients.
Ms. Sotiropoulos volunteers at the Circuit Court of Cook County's Domestic Violence Courthouse, where she helps advocate for victims of domestic violence by drafting emergency orders of protection. She serves as the president of the Associate Council of WINGS Metro, a nonprofit organization that provides temporary housing to victims of domestic violence to assist them in escaping the cycle of abuse.
