Jose Daniel Suarez

Jose Daniel Suarez Caceres is a corporate attorney in Holland & Knight's Bogotá office. Mr. Suarez focuses his practice on assisting clients with their intellectual property (IP) matters, mainly regarding the administration of their intellectual assets, such as trademarks, patents and other distinctive signs, both nationally and internationally. Likewise, Mr. Suarez has experience in advising clients on copyright, advertising law and matters involving IP and entertainment law.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Suarez represented the interests of national and international clients by assisting them with their intangible assets before the Colombian Trademark Office (Superintendency of Industry and Commerce) and the National Directorate of Copyright of Colombia, among others. His career trajectory with different firms of high recognition in the country has allowed Mr. Suarez to obtain significant experience in the previously mentioned fields, allowing him to offer clients complete advice in IP and related matters.

In addition, Mr. Suarez has completed a certificate of accreditation from the 2022 Global Entertainment and Sports Law Conference at the University of Miami School of Law.
