Overview
Emily N. Vest is a labor and employment attorney in Holland & Knight's Dallas office. Ms. Vest focuses her practice on assisting employers with all aspects of labor and employment law and related litigation. She has experience assisting employers with claims arising under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and Family and Medical Leave (FMLA). Ms. Vest also has experience assisting employers with claims arising under Texas state law, including Chapter 21 of the Texas Labor Code.
Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Vest was a summer associate in the firm's Dallas office. In this role, she gained experience assisting with labor and employment matters and hospitality-related litigation.
While in law school, Ms. Vest was a member of and served as production editor for the Louisiana Law Review. Additionally, she was a student attorney in the school's Parole Assistance and Re-entry Clinic and Juvenile Defense Clinic.
