Overview
Oliver Daniel Wechsler is a real estate attorney in Holland & Knight's Miami office, where he focuses his practice in the areas of land use and zoning law. Mr. Wechsler routinely represents property owners and developers before local government, county boards and state agencies in attaining governmental approvals. He also has experience in general real estate matters, including purchase and sale transactions.
During law school, Mr. Wechsler served on his school's Housing Advocacy and Litigation Clinic, where he represented tenants facing eviction in the District of Columbia Superior Court's Landlord and Tenant Branch. Mr. Wechsler advocated in front of Superior Court judges and was able to assist multiple clients in vacating their notices of eviction.
Additionally, Mr. Wechsler served as a legal intern for the Honorable Michael A. Hanzman of Florida's Eleventh Judicial Circuit, and a judicial intern for the Honorable Beth Bloom of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida. Mr. Wechsler also worked as a paralegal for a boutique litigation firm in Coral Gables, Florida, specifically assisting with negligence related matters.
