Overview

Alex J. Welfringer is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Los Angeles office and a member of the firm's Private Wealth Services Group.  Ms. Welfringer represents beneficiaries and individual, professional and corporate fiduciaries in complex trust and estate litigation. 

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Welfringer was a summer associate in the firm's Los Angeles office. While in law school, Ms. Welfringer served as a staff member for the Southwestern Law Review, participated and served as the academics chair of the board for the Trial Advocacy Honors Program (TAHP), and was a member of the Ninth Circuit Appellate Litigation Clinic. In addition, Ms. Welfringer competed in the Texas Young Lawyers Association National Trial Competition (NTC), and won the All Star National Mock Trial Competition, earning the Best Advocate title.

Ms. Welfringer gained extensive courtroom experience as a certified law clerk for the Ventura County District Attorney's Office, with the Domestic Violence and General Felonies units. She also served as a legal extern at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Central District of California.
