Overview

Ariel Whitmore is an attorney in Holland & Knight's Chicago office and a member of the firm's Financial Services Team. Ms. Whitmore assists clients with a range of financial matters, including commercial lending and real estate finance.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Whitmore was a summer associate in the firm's Chicago office, where she gained experience supporting clients with the Corporate and Financial Services teams. She also completed a legal externship with eBay’s in-house counsel as part of Northwestern's San Francisco Immersion Program. Additionally, Ms. Whitmore interned for a legal aid group in Chicago, supporting eviction defense work for indigent populations and assisting with family law matters for incarcerated parents.

While in law school, Ms. Whitmore was an executive editor of the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. Additionally, she served as vice president of the Student Bar Association.

Prior to attending law school, Ms. Whitmore worked as a paralegal at boutique immigration law firms in Massachusetts, where she assisted with preparing employment- and marriage-based immigration petitions.
