Overview

Jemiah Williams is a public affairs advisor in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office and a member of the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Group. She focuses her practice on federal legislative and regulatory advocacy.

Ms. Williams assists higher education institutions, including historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs), and health equity organizations with federal advocacy. In addition, she has a strong grasp of Capitol Hill and the policymaking process.

Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Ms. Williams was a legislative aide to Rep. Madeleine Dean (D-Pa.), where she helped draft and advance legislation, and lead appropriations requests.

In addition, Ms. Williams was an intern in Holland & Knight's Washington, D.C., office, as well as with a government relations and communication firm, a national nonprofit educational advocacy organization, Rep. Suzanne Bonamici (D-Ore.) and Rep. Marc Veasey (D-Texas).
