ACC NCR Roundtable: Risks and Rewards of Corporate Activism - Russia and Beyond

Partners Jonathan Wolcott, Valarie Ney and Antonia Tzinova will participate in a roundtable discussion on corporate activism. The Russian invasion of Ukraine sparked a range of reactions from U.S. businesses and investors, including divestment of Russian assets and discontinuation of Russian operations. These reactions implicate several legal issues, such as sanctions and regulatory compliance. During this discussion, the presenters will review the legal considerations for companies to note when engaging in corporate activism as well as the risks and rewards of doing so.
