Each year, Holland & Knight's Mergers and Acquisitions Team helps close more than 625 M&A transactions. Although we have experienced significant growth handling mega-market transactions, Holland & Knight excels within the middle market (up to $500 million) arena. Clients value our team's creative, innovative approach as well as our dedication to fostering long-term partnerships and the ability to effectively navigate the complex business and legal issues that arise in middle-market transactions.

Value Through HK Deal FlowSM

Holland & Knight adds value for its M&A clients through high-quality introductions and referrals of tailored investment opportunities sourced through our vast network, including HK Deal FlowSM, the firm's proprietary program designed to enhance and supplement the deal sourcing of our private equity, family office, lender and other institutional investor clients. Since 2017, the HK Deal FlowSM program has successfully sourced more than 1,500 deals and actively works with more than 700 deal intermediaries and 1,000 capital sources. In 2023 alone, the program successfully sourced more than 450 deals.

Market-Leading RWI Practice

Holland & Knight has one of the largest and most active representations and warranties insurance (RWI) practices in the United States. In addition to leading approximately 1,000 RWI underwriting matters each year, the firm's Representations and Warranties Insurance Team counsels transactional parties in connection with the purchase of approximately 200 insurance policies each year. Holland & Knight leverages its substantial relationships with RWI underwriters, managing general agents (MGAs) and managing general underwriters (MGUs) to help ensure that our clients receive the best policy terms and claims handling available.
