Managing Tax Liabilities in Corporate Transactions

Tax attorney Jeffrey Korenblatt will speak at Practising Law Institute's (PLI) Reps & Warranties and Transactional Risk Insurance 2023 program in New York. The event will provide lawyers and other mergers and acquisitions (M&A) professionals with an overview of representations and warranties insurance (RWI) and transactional risk insurance (TRI) products, including tax liability insurance and litigation insurance. Mr. Korenblatt's presentation will focus on tax insurance policies, explaining what they cover, how they are structured and what role they play in the due diligence process. The speakers will also review underwriting, pricing, retention and coverage trends as well as explore how tax reform and other regulatory changes could affect the tax insurance market.
