With the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) rule now published, any doubts about whether CMMC will happen and when it will impact defense contractors have been resolved. CMMC is happening and its rollout plan is understood. Defense contractors that handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) should be implementing their compliance programs and preparing for their assessment now.

To help contractors understand what’s in the new rule, what has changed, how they are affected and what they need to be doing, Holland & Knight, FORVIS, JAMIS, Federal Publications Seminars and NeoSystems invite you to a special in-person seminar in Dallas.

Please Note: This same program format will take place in Houston the previous day.

Session Topics

  • Current Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) rule and NIST 800-171 compliance requirements for defense contractors
  • An in-depth look at the new CMMC rule, as well as the forthcoming Revision 3 of the NIST 800-171 security framework
  • Leveraging third-party cloud and managed service providers to assist with meeting compliance obligations
  • The certification assessment process, based upon FORVIS' experience as one of the earliest CMMC Third-Party Assessor Organizations (C3PAOs) that has worked with the U.S. Department of Defense on multiple Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessments

Small bites and cocktails will be provided following the sessions. We hope to see you there.
