Holland & Knight's Education Team invites you to participate in a national webinar on Tuesday, April 23, regarding the U.S. Department of Education's long-awaited Title IX regulations, which were released on April 19.

In their presentation, Holland & Knight education attorneys Jeffrey J. Nolan and Tara Param of our Title IX Team will discuss:

  • The most salient differences between the final regulations and the proposed rules issued in 2022
  • The major changes between the 2024 final regulations and the current regulations
  • Decision points that colleges and universities will face as they revise their policies and procedures to comply with the new regulations
  • What colleges and universities should be doing in the short and long terms to prepare for the new regulatory regime

The final regulations go into effect on August 1, 2024, so there is little time to waste.

After the overview, Mr. Nolan and Ms. Param will take participant questions. We hope you can join us for this informative presentation. Please register below and feel free to forward this invitation to anyone on your campus who you think would be interested.

For your reference, please see Holland & Knight's alert on the final Title IX regulations. In addition, an unofficial copy of the final regulations can be accessed on the Education Department's website. Related resources posted by the Department include a Fact Sheet, a Summary of Major Provisions and a Resource for Drafting Non-Discrimination Policies.
