Lexology
International Trade attorneys Robert Friedman, Andrew McAllister and Antonia Tzinova will participate in a Lexology webinar analyzing developments affecting cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and foreign investment in the U.S. They will look at enforcement and compliance activity from the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), including a proposed rule enhancing the committee's penalty authority, along with a breakdown of the largest-ever fine for non-compliance. Other topics of discussion will include renewed regulatory scrutiny of real estate transactions close to national security locations, proposed rules on outbound investment screening and how the U.S. presidential election could affect CFIUS priorities.
