Let's Talk About Death

Trusts, Estates and Fiduciary Litigation attorney Stacie Chau will be speaking at the 61st Annual Hawaii Tax Institute China-U.S. Alliance Program on a session titled "Let's Talk About Death." Ms. Chau, alongside other professionals, will address the challenges of discussing death and estate planning in Asian cultures. The session will cover crucial aspects of estate planning, including tax implications, family conversations, strategies to minimize post-death litigation and managing declining capacity through legal instruments. Ms. Chau also serves on the China-U.S. Alliance Program's Advisory Committee.
