Please join Holland & Knight's CFIUS and Industrial Security Team for the first in a four-part event series on the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and its 50th anniversary in 2025.
The series will include three webinars on key CFIUS themes impacting global businesses, cross-border dealmakers and international investors, followed by an in-person gala that will culminate the CFIUS@50 series and serve as a book release party. The publication – authored by Holland & Knight's CFIUS and Industrial Security Team – will focus on past CFIUS cases and how they shaped up the evolution of national security risks, as well as highlight key themes that chart CFIUS' future.
Additional information on future events in our series and the book will be forthcoming.
During Part 1, "CFIUS in Focus: Lessons from Major Transactions and What Lies Ahead," the panelists will discuss lessons from seminal CFIUS cases in key national security areas – including critical technologies, critical infrastructure, sensitive personal data, close proximity and use of jurisdiction over real estate transactions to capture certain greenfield investments. The panelists also will consider what lies ahead based on experiences from the past.
We hope you can join us for this highly informative presentation.
