EPA Releases New Construction Stormwater Permit

On February 16, 2012, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) released a new National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) general permit for construction discharges that replaces an existing general permit issued in 2008. The new general permit applies in Texas and Oklahoma to construction sites involving certain oil and gas development, production, and transportation activities.
