President Donald Trump signed the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2021, which includes long-awaited measures in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and resulting economic crisis. The new law, signed on Dec. 27, 2020, follows measures enacted earlier this year, including the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act), the Families First Coronavirus Response Act and the Paycheck Protection Program Flexibility Act of 2020.

The latest COVID relief legislation was enacted as part of Congress' fiscal year (FY) 2021 appropriations bill, and includes provisions impacting a wide variety of stakeholders. The following chart highlights some noteworthy provisions.
