Time is running short as the repeal efforts continue for the Affordable Care Act. The U.S. Senate's repeal bill, the Better Care Reconciliation Act Senior has yet to become a victory for healthcare reform. Public Affairs Advisor Miranda Franco weighs in on the matter.
"Congressional Republicans have long promised their base that they would dismantle the ACA. In the House, they voted more than 60 times to repeal the ACA. Yet, GOP repeal-and-replace efforts remain in flux. Senate Republican leadership is well-aware of the political peril of reducing health benefits and the danger of not fulfilling the promise to repeal the ACA," Ms. Franco said.
