Healthcare attorney Daniela Arbeláez was featured in an article published by El Tiempo about the complex landscape of the healthcare reform proposed by Gustavo Petro's government. The administration faces significant challenges in implementing structural changes because of legal limitations. Ms. Arbeláez highlighted that although the government cannot alter the system's structure, it can advance the implementation of Basic Health Teams (EBS) through decrees, thus strengthening preventive medical care.
