Cryptocurrency: How's the Regulation Process in Colombia?

Financial Services attorney Camilo Gantiva was mentioned in an article published by Publimetro Colombia about Colombia's cryptocurrency landscape. Mr. Gantiva said the opportunity for scams is wide because of the lack of regulation in the country with regard to digital currency. However, he insisted that the new practices that appear with technology should not be demonized.

"This is a product that many people still don't quite understand," he said. "But, it has several advantages, such as being an investment asset with significant valuations. Although, like everything, it has also had its crises and risks."
