K Street Braces for Potential Shutdown

Public Policy & Regulation Group Leader Rich Gold was quoted in an article by The Hill that discusses the looming government shutdown and theimpact it is having on K Street. The article goes over the uncertainty that many in the lobbying field are going through, with little else to do other than keep clients informed and await additional guidance from the Office of Management and Budget (OMB). As the potential shutdown sucks momentum away from K Street's top legislative targets, Mr. Gold stated how Congress will want to put emphasis on its efforts relating to the shutdown. 

“During the shutdown, Congress certainly wants to be seen focusing on the shutdown,” he said.
