Holland & Knight Poaches 2 EPA Attorneys
Environmental attorneys James McGuire and Zach Pilchen were recently featured in E&E NEWS in connection with their new positions at Holland & Knight. Mr. McGuire, who previously served as regional counsel for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Region 6, has become a partner in the firm's Public Policy & Regulation Group in Dallas. He brings extensive experience from his tenure at the EPA as well as his efforts leading environmental regulation initiatives in Dallas for nearly a decade.
Mr. McGuire stated that he is "confident we are well on the way to building the market-leading environmental law practice in Texas."
Additionally, Holland & Knight announced that Mr. Pilchen, who served as senior legal counsel for the EPA, has taken on the role of senior counsel in the firm's Washington, D.C., office, where he will focus on Clean Air Act matters.
