This Rich California City is Using the Affirmative Action Ruling to Stop Affordable Housing

West Coast Land Use and Environment attorneys Ryan Leaderman and William Sterling were interviewed by the San Francisco Chronicle for an article that examines the misuse of a California law known as "affirmatively furthering fair housing" in an attempt to avoid the approval of a multifamily housing project. The firm represents the developers in builder's remedy case and explained the need for reforms. 

"Every time you think you scrape the bottom of the barrel, you get something like this,” Mr. Sterling said.
