Litigation attorney William Shepherd was quoted in a Law360 article where he expressed strong support for Pam Bondi's nomination as U.S. Attorney General, describing her as a "strong pick" who would likely be "easily confirmed." Mr. Shepherd highlighted Bondi's understanding of the responsibilities of the position and said her experience working with nearly every federal agency as Florida's attorney general has prepared her for the next step at the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). "She understands the law-and-order part of the job almost by reflex. The size and scope of the [DOJ] is very different, but she worked with every federal agency as the attorney general," he said.
