Colombia Was Also Included in Trump’s Tariff Package: United States Imposes 10 Percent Tariffs

Bogotá Executive Partner Enrique Gómez-Pinzón was interviewed by El Colombiano about U.S. President Donald Trump's recent decision to impose a global tariff of 10 percent on imports from several Latin American countries, including Colombia. Mr. Gómez-Pinzón explained that, although the tariffs raise concerns among Colombian exporters, they also present opportunities compared to other competitors because of their non-discriminatory nature.
"[Colombia must look at] what our main products are to the U.S., our main trading partner, and how our competitors were affected by those same tariffs," he said.
