Holland & Knight Advises ipDatatel in Home Security Industry Merger

HOUSTON (September 19, 2017) – Holland & Knight represented ipDatatel, a leading provider of cellular and Internet-based smart alarm devices, in its merger with Resolution Products, a company that provides wireless technologies to alarm dealers and installers. The deal was announced on Sept. 6.

Prior to the merger, the companies have jointly sold a complete security, alarm, access control and automation solution for smart homes and commercial installations using the Resolution Products’ Helix alarm panel and ipDatatel’s Universal Alarm Communicators and Cloud services.
