Trial Attorney Scott O'Connell Joins Holland & Knight in Boston

BOSTON (September 9, 2021) – Scott O'Connell has joined Holland & Knight's Litigation Section as a partner in the firm's Boston office. Previously, he was a partner at Nixon Peabody, where he was past chair of the firm's Litigation Department.

Mr. O'Connell focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes involving high financial and reputational exposure, particularly in the healthcare, financial services and energy industries. He has significant experience leading class action and aggregate litigation as well as parallel government enforcement and regulatory proceedings. Over the course of his distinguished career, Mr. O'Connell has been lead counsel on more than 60 trials, arbitrations, evidentiary injunction proceedings and related appeals in federal and state courts across the country.
