Holland & Knight Strengthens Corporate Practice with Addition of M&A Partner Waajid Siddiqui in New York
NEW YORK (April 7, 2022) – Corporate and M&A attorney Waajid Siddiqui has joined Holland & Knight's New York office as a partner. He focuses on upstream and downstream oil and gas transactions, as well as acquisitions and divestitures of lending and leasing platforms and portfolios of financial assets. Mr. Siddiqui was previously a partner with Shearman & Sterling.
Prior to becoming a private practice lawyer, Mr. Siddiqui was senior counsel for a large integrated energy company, where he worked on cross-border M&A and corporate finance transactions.

Mr. Siddiqui earned a J.D. degree from Tulane University Law School and an MBA degree from Tulane University. He received a B.A. degree from Brown University. In addition to English, he speaks Hindi and Urdu.
