Holland & Knight Represents Operio Group in Acquisition of the Elizabeth Family of Companies

DALLAS (November 16, 2023) – Holland & Knight advised Operio Group in its acquisition of three factories, Elizabeth, Elizabeth HATA and Scheu & Kniss, owned by the Elizabeth Companies. Financial terms of the transactions were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas, Operio Group invests in and operates companies that directly serve the food, beverage, nutraceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing industries.

The Elizabeth Companies, based in McKeesport, Pennsylvania, are leading manufacturers of tablet tooling, tableting presses, turrets and press parts.

The acquisition marks a pivotal moment in Operio Group's endeavor to become the top provider of solutions for solid dose manufacturers. By joining the Operio Group, the Elizabeth Companies are poised to incorporate into their plants' state-of-the-art manufacturing machinery.
