Healthcare Transactions Partner John Saran Joins Holland & Knight in Chicago
CHICAGO (May 14, 2024) – Holland & Knight has bolstered its nationally recognized healthcare practice with the addition of John Saran as a partner in its Chicago office. He will also be a key member of the firm's nationwide Healthcare Transactions Team. Prior to joining Holland & Knight, Mr. Saran was counsel at Ropes & Gray.
Mr. Saran advises healthcare companies and private equity investors on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and public offerings in the healthcare industry, including hospitals and healthcare systems, physician and dental practices, digital health companies, and management and dental service organizations. Additionally, he has experience assisting provider platforms with their growth strategy, including add-on acquisitions, complex service arrangements and joint ventures. His regulatory practice focuses on helping clients navigate the new state healthcare transaction laws and matters related to the corporate practice of medicine, fraud and abuse laws, Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and state licensure.

Mr. Saran earned a J.D. degree from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law and a B.A. degree from Northwestern University.
